My name is Carl Passarelli. I’m a native Rhode Islander – born and raised in our capital city of Providence. I attended LaSalle Academy, a Catholic college preparatory school. After graduation, I headed down to the city by the sea, Newport, and attended Salve Regina College. A few years after college, I married my lovely wife, and we purchased our first home in Providence. A little more than a decade ago, we moved to Smithfield.
I work with people from all over the Ocean State and beyond every day. I’ve been told many times that I found my true calling when I became a Realtor®, and I agree completely. I’ve been in the service industry my entire career, even before I was technically old enough to have a career. Selling newspapers to our neighbors after Sunday church (my very first sales job). That led to mowing lawns in summer and shoveling driveways in winter. The early jobs provided invaluable lessons – dependability / negotiation / strong work ethic - and a solid foundation for my future real estate career. Soon after college I joined a car rental company, and worked my way from trainee to District Manager. Yet, it wasn’t until I embarked on my career as a Realtor® that I truly felt like I was home.
I’ve been a full-time professional Realtor® for over 20 years. And guess what? I still love it! Every day I meet new people and have an opportunity to help someone change their life. It’s very rewarding, and I feel blessed knowing I get to use my skills and passion to help my clients.
Make no mistake, real estate is fast paced and constantly changing. Education is key, not only for my personal growth but also for my client’s success. Every year I spend time honing my craft to better serve you; investing in cutting-edge skills, and learning new/improved sales techniques. It’s a win-win situation, and guarantees you get the advantage of the newest, modern techniques and strategies when working with me. Further, I’ve earned the following industry designations:
Certified Residential Specialist – detailed skills for smooth and stress-free real estate transactions
Senior Real Estate Specialist – specifically addressing the needs of those over 50
Accredited Buyer Representative – specialized education and experience representing buyers
Utilizing all these skills, I’ve helped hundreds of homeowners and home buyers throughout my career; everyone from the seller whose house did not sell, first-time home buyers, heirs inheriting a home, to those experiencing a divorce, bankruptcy or a growing family.
I’m a member of the Rhode Island Northern Board of Realtors, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. I am licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
I hold my career and clients in high esteem. You are my number one focus and the reason for my daily efforts. My clients trust my knowledge and integrity, and I value their loyalty and friendship. This has lead to many repeat clients and yearly referrals, the highest honor I can receive from a client. Listening to you, and understanding your situation, is my priority. Communication should always be a two way street.
Having a sense of humor, and some fun, is important too. Life is full of adventures. Some of my favorite times are spent with my wife - we love cooking together, enjoying a day at the beach, riding my motorcycle, taking in a concert, and occasionally binge watching a favorite TV series. I’m also a HAM/CB radio operator (a holdover from my youth), and enjoy fixing some of the older pieces of equipment. A nice dinner out with friends is always fun as is an action/thriller on the big screen plus who can resist a hot pretzel with mustard? Am I right??
I hope you know by now these are not mere words on paper. I’m dedicated and committed to my clients. Your success is my success. I have every faith and confidence that if you’ll just pick up the phone and call me – you won’t regret it. You may even end up asking yourself that proverbial question: “Why didn’t I do this sooner”? I can help you, and I want to. Call me, any time – I’m here for you.
